This November marks the 153rd anniversary of the publication for that grand old classic, "Alice in Wonderland"... Sooo, this being May, seemed the perfect time for our little tribute...
Y'see, while the original story was laid in a wondrous fantasy land of weird characters, surreal settings and irrational events it was also filled with a myriad of hidden meanings, puzzles, satirical commentary and caricatures of famous people... All the while crazy things kept happening much too fast for Alice to make sense of it all the classic example being the Mad Tea Party...
And now, like it or not, we find, Bunz and her cohort the Cheshire Katz, trapped in a similar bizarre situation, only with characters not nearly so benign or humorous... Yes, in this Maddest of Tea Parties Trapped in a World She Never Made, crawling with weird characters and crazy contradictions, where "War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery and Ignorance is Strength..." Odd, sounds like George Orwell may also have had a hand in this...
Thanx to Walt for his input on this piece and our apologies to good ol' Charlie Dodgson... JQ
