One way to beat the heat of August is to relax with friends... or um... enemies at the beach -- which seems what the 3DD Kitty, Bunz, Katz and Ossifer Moxie of the LAPD Cosplay Division are doing today... For those of you who may have been following our Bat Temp storyline, you'd know that Bunz has had a bit of trouble with the Kitty... while what Moxie may be up to is anyone's guess... Incidentally, I believe that this month's Bikini and Sunglasses theme is Moxie's first calendar appearance...

While the girls are keeping cool at the beach, here at the Quagmire Komix Werkz, I've been sweating over a hot computer, playing Klondike... I mean working on the next exciting page in the Bunz & Katz opus... It seems there's going to be a criminal trial, though who's getting the works isn't yet quite clear as yet...

Meanwhile, our electoral travesty continues as the guy with the squirrely hair seems to be going into a meltdown as his own worst enemy... while the mean bitch is having honesty issues (big surprise?)... It's hard to recall two presidential candidates that I've been less enthusiastic about! Just when you think that one of them might be marginally less abominable than the other, then that other one does or says something that quashes even that faint hope...

I realize that it won't happen, but if people voted Libertarian, if they voted Green, or Anything other than the Big Two parties, then we might get candidates that deserved our respect and might even do a credible job in office... But as long as you vote for either the white Elephant or Jackass, you're just going to get more vile choices like the current two!! JQ
