June 2010Well here we are, it's June 2010 and its that time of the seasons for another Bikini Calendar... Now I realize this may sound a tad odd - but I really seriously got into a case of the "Give a F**ks" ...er I mean a case of the "Blahs" while workin' on these pix... And I do understand this may sound quirky - after all, here I get to draw another nearly nude Bunny in her bikini doing something moderately suggestive - So who could get tired of that?? All I can say is, I just got to thinkin': "How many of these bikini pix have I done?" and "How many more am I fated to do? Isn't there something more to life than this?", "Is this actually making the world better for anyone?" and more to the point, "Is it making me any Bux??" So I'd work a while, then collapse in apathy and play a round or two of Yukon or go piddle with some other artwork or story material before eventually getting back to the Bunny stuff for a while before collapsing into apathy all over again... Eventually last night, I realized the calendar was already late - it only needed a few bits an' tweaks to be ready, but I just couldn't seem to apply myself to it... Finally in frustration, I cried out into the night: "What is the point to all this? Is there an answer? Is there a reason?? Any Reason at all?!?" A moment later, the windows rattled, a cold chill swept though the room, while an etherial voice intoned: "Forty Two..." So I shut up an' got back to work!! By the way - this month's and next month's calendar are loosely connected (Thanx somewhat to Walt's suggestions). This month we see Kelly with a rather drippy frozen Sucker-Pop... Well, on a hot beach, What would you expect?? But then, what does a Bunny do once she has Drippy Sticky Sweet Lime Sucker Stuff Dribbled down all over her chest an' um Bikini an' um... things?? Does she look around for something to wipe it off with? Does she call upon her favorite neighborhood Vixen to help lick it o-- NO! she doesn't do that! Or perhaps does she take advantage of the nearby ocean?? Could be... Check next month for the further misadventures of a Bunny and her Bikini -- and perhaps even a SuckerPop too -- Uh Huh... JQ |

A Note about the Calendars - since the Beginning, Macs and Windows machines have used different Gamma settings (Win box Monitors at 2.2 are generally a bit darker) which is why, up until recently, I've prepared two sets of calendars, a Mac one and a slightly lighter version for Windows... Well, as of OS 10.6, Apple finally conceded the issue and from this point on, at least the Macs running current and future versions of OSX will also have their gamma set at 2.2 -- As such, I thought that I might as well discontinue making two versions of the Calendars... Perhaps some of you who use them, might write and tell me how they look on your machines -- they might look a tad light on Macs running older versions of OSX, but not critically so... |
